To celebrate the 50 years of the Hope Diamond in the Smithsonian Museum, for the first time in 50 years, this historical diamond will be set in a new setting. The new setting was given by Harry Winston Jewelers itself who donated this historical diamond to the museum in 1958.
Weighing 45.52 carats, Hope Diamond is the largest Blue Diamond and probably the most famous diamond in the world. The diamond also displays an exceptionally rare deep blue hue.
Famous singer, model and actor Beyonce Knowles was recently seen launching the ‘2 B Happy’ Jewelry Collection of her friend and famous Jewelry Designer Lorraine Schwartz.
Lorraine said that it was a low moment while she was on a business trip that inspired this ‘To Be’ or ‘2 B’ Happy Diamond Jewelry line.
Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles said, “Lorraine is the most generous, wonderful, talented jewelry designers I know. She can come up with a concept and put it together .. like that.”

The whole Duchess of Windsor collection that is on display this pre sale exhibition was once owned by Wallis Simpson and is estimated to be worth 3 million pounds.
